Entering God’s presence is always the first step in prayer. Acknowledging God and his creation puts you in touch with your heart, the throne of the Lord.
This psalm alludes to the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem (on the donkey) before the last supper and his passion.
I think of this psalm each time I enter church to remind me of the awesome power of God in our conversations with him and that we all seek the face of God.
