This psalm has one of my favorite lines to pray with. Verse 5 states that the Lord tests the wicked and the righteous. God still rains down fiery coals on the wicked because He is just but He is also merciful. That means that we can always turn back to Him and he will forgive us.
Take refuge in the Lord and he will save you from the wicked.
