The first two verses are about as far as you need to go to traverse fertile prayer ground.
First, there is praise with all your heart. You can pray in your head but praise from your heart is a stronger, more personal conversation with God.
Declaring the wondrous deeds of our creator starts with being grateful for life and creation.
In the next verse we delight and rejoice in God our creator and sing hymns to a God most high.
Following in the remaining verses are support for our struggles against the enemy and the wonder of God’s judgment. We hear more praise to God and a call to thwart the wicked.
